DELTA ADVOCACY GROUP LAUNCHES TO CONNECT DELTA THROUGH ADVOCACY
DELTA, BC – The Delta Advocacy Group (DAG) launched today build community and connect the City of Delta through advocacy.
A community organization with members consisting of residents, politicians, community leaders, and stakeholders, the Delta Advocacy Group will work closely with residents and stakeholders to advocate for residents on issues of local, provincial, and national importance and propose policies that will help shape the future of Delta.
“Many of us were involved in the last municipal election,” said Darcy Green, former candidate for Delta city council and Co-Chair of the Delta Advocacy Group. “In the days and weeks after the election, we heard from residents from North and South Delta asking us to stay engaged. Advocacy is key to who we are as individuals. We look forward to working with the residents of Delta and relevant stakeholders to push for the best City of Delta we can create”.
